My shifter is really sloppy feeling. If you put it in first gear, it will go back to the neutral position. And its just floppy. The shifter bushings have just been replaced.

I have a b series in my crx. but i think the shifter is for a d series. Does it matter?

It seems like the ball thing towards the bottom is too small. There is a ton of play.

Do you think getting a B series shifter will solve my problem?

 

Do you have the bitch pin in the linkage or a bolt?

 

you need b shift linkage and stabilizer bar or a hacked d series

That does not matter... sounds like it was put on wrong/missing something (at the shifter).
