Need Insight On This Turbo Kit
I want to turbo my lude but i am short on cash by a longshot to get a decent setup. And i highly doubt i will ever boost over 8-9 lbs, i just want a some extra pep. I was just wanting some imput on this turbo kit i saw on ebay, and i know ebay isnt the best place to buy anything, but once again i am low on fundage and this caught my eye and was just wanting an expert opinion on this setup.

Now, when you have the $$$ to rebuild/repair/replace your motor.....Boost away!
Same advice I give people about Nitrous....and those kits start at $2-300 used.

so the kit itself isnt bad? the manifold looky pretty shitty and i was ganna get a different one, and i could get a new wastgate for saftey. and i wasnt planning on boosting much at all, i would be happy with 6-7 lbs.
And i have thought about nitrous too, i just want a lil more go. And i have had nitrous on another car b4 this one so i do have some experience with N2O. You think that would be a safer bet? I would have it tuned for the nitrous.

I have driven an H22@8psi and it wasn't even close to my H22@75shot
IMO its the difference between a high12 setup and a mid-high13 setup.

but nitrous would be the cheaper route, the only thing is with the nitrous that i ALWAYS get caught with my bottle empty. someone is talkin **** in thier Ford NuttStain (Mustang) and my bottle would be empty. but my car now has no problems hanging with mustangs like it sitts, i just want to smoke them and smile.

lol, ya. how much is that NX kit you were talkin about? and how big is the bottles?
I really want to do it with electric bottle openers and have it where my spare is in the trunk so i can be sneaky with it. lol I hated having to get out, pop the trunk, and open the valve in my other car, everyone was like, 0o0o0o0 what r u doin? baby need his bottle? lol. And it deffinatley sucked when i got caught at a stoplight with it off.
