dynasty 350 or sync 350?
hey guys, looking at upgrading my syncrowave as im starting to do quite a bit of thick aluminum stuff and the duty cycle on the 200 is just not cutting it for me.
it seems that these 2 machines are about the same price and nearly same specs from what i can tell. anyone have personal experience with these?

just got off the phone with miller and it looks like i'll be going with a dynasty 350.
that said, anyone looking to buy a nearly brand new sync 200? its got ~30-40 hrs on it, comes with a homemade water cooler setup and a 20F torch(flex head)

On our Dynasty 350 the only problem we have it is the poor high frequency start (the worst of any machine I've ever used), but this seems to be common throughout the Dynasty range. (Haven't tried the blue lightning model so I can't comment on that one)
Apart from that it's brilliant in everything else, I particularly like the soft squarewave function for welding the intercoolers and radiators we do.

Have you ever had the problem where the machine just goes " zap-zap-zap-zap" ? We had miller engineers, electricians, and the power company come out to fix this. Miller replaced all the boards in all three machines and they still failed to get a proper arc after 7-8 hrs of hard AC welding.
Oh and in the software of the machines you can adjust the HF intensity and start time, increase both. I think I run 50 and 50.
