Default small dilemma....

not sure what to do , Ive done alot of work and not sure what to do now.

Here is the deal , I originally bought an old rusty crx si , it was BAAAAAAD. ripped out the a6 and told the junker to haul it away. I also took the hatch the tranny the hood the doors the seats , etc. then a month later found a rust free y-49 for sale bought it , didnt look it over well enough and the frame was ****ed on the inside of the wheel well and repair shop didnt even want to touch it. so I sold it for 800 bucks lol. made 300 bucks not bad. about at this time I just got done building this :

D16A6

76 mm vitara pistons with hastings rings.
king bearings(oversized)
Regrinded crank
All machine work done by my machinist who has had over 30 years of experience and knows his ****.
rebuilt head (stock all OEM from honda dealer)
PnP head
rebuilt Si transmission , all oem bearing , oem seals , aftermarket synchro's and synchro sleeves.
Brand new ACT 6 puck sprung

so after I was done building I bought another CRX , I bought it after searching for 2 months desperately and ended up with one that had been repainted , and it was a 500$ job so you can imagine how insanely suck *** it was , you could hear the paint by running your hands across it. I was desperate for one with no rust and I did end up wetsanding all the orangepeel out but the other problem was that the bumper was held on with ****ing screws like absolutely no bolts whatsoever , the brakes stopped working on me a week after I got. and I just stopped ****ing with it for a while because I had just bought my talon and have been playing with it at the track in KC.

well needless to say the talon has a fragile tranny and 2nd is starting to **** in my cheerios and I want to buy a Tranny from TRE , so I ordered the Tranny , and sold the green crx because my neighbor has been asking about it ever since I wetsanded it. so I sold it to buy a tranny for my DD , now I have this brand new motor and tranny and nothing to put it in . theres absolutely no honda people around here so Selling it on CL is outta the question. and ebay would be a bitch to ship it. I donno what to do.

sorry for the novel.

Well this thread is probably going to get locked for starters. Try and put it in the Market Place or FS/WTB thread. I JUST got a motor shipped to me (D16Z6 for a friend) and it cost $160 and it weighed 290 lbs COMPLETE. That was PA to IN and it would have been the same to FL... Shipping is not horrible you just have to be willing to find somebody that wants to pay it and deal with getting it to and from the carrier. (If you try and go door to door it is outrageous, you are better off going terminal to terminal even if you have to make a drive.)

I would say throw it on e-Bay for fun and see where it goes. Also, posting it on Craigslist probably wouldn't be bad either. Nothing like free advertisement. Speaking of which, what do you want to get out of each of them?

no really sure I put em up on CL 1500 for EVERYTHING , which is 3 dizzys , 2 starters , complete stock body pieces all the way around. shift linkage 2 SI wiring harness , one cut up one virgin , extra dash , Si seats , door panelz for Si , plus the motor and tranny obviously If I was good with sheetmetal I could make a car from scratch lol.

hope it doesnt get locked , this is not a FS thread , I just would like some advice. I might be joining the marketplace today and going to make a thread , I guess 160 wouldnt be bad , might even sell it faster if I put in free shipping.

Nice... well it sucks to see you put all that time and money into a vehicle (well motor LOL) and have to sell it off. That is a good deal IF they had a CRX. It may suck but maybe try and seperate some stuff.

If i could find a rex or EF that was like 500 bucks I might be able to do something with it all but Finding one in MO for 500 that doesnt have faded paint or rust or just a POS is hard as ****.

Yeah... I used R&L Carriers. It was terminal to terminal and a complete motor. It gets WAY more expensive if you start adding options. Again, if you ship it farther it will cost more. Check out www.rlcarriers.com for quotes so you have an idea if it is worth it.
