ok here is the problem i took the a/c compressor off so the belt i now have for my alt is too big i was just wondering if anyone knew what the part/belt number for the new belt thats smaller or just as well the size of the belt i need. i sure i'm not the first person ever to do this!

 

Just use a piece of string, wrap it around the alt and crank pulleys, pull it tight, mark where the two ends meet/overlap . Remove the string, measure between the two marks.

 

The correct alternator belt for a '90-93 Accord without A/C is a 5PK-970.
