ok so i removed my oil pump a week or 2ago and relized the rear bs tooth(that locks the gear in place) is sheared off dont ask how but it did so i was wondering it i just remove the bs belt how would that affect my motor?
I left a balancer belt off, (at the customers request). He claimed an increase in MPG and more mid RPM throttle response!

yes, you'll be fine without the Balance-Shaft belt. Some engines did not even come with balancer shafts from the factory, they are there soley for driver/passenger comfort against engine vibrations. Leaving the actual shafts in the motor while taking off the belt is fine.
