Default CRX HF or EF DX

i been having a 90 ef dx trying to build it and get it all set and running (stock d15b2) bought with a blown head gasket fixed it now it has overheating issues(thermostat) cars body is overall clean no rust nowhere thats the main reason i got it no water leaks and stock for the most part except a few rice mods from its previous owner the bad its automatic

the crx is very sexy lol its a 2 seater and i know lighter(hf model) but has alot of bodywork to do has rust spots interior is trashed and here in miami its kinda hard to find interior pieces and it has a blue interior but has a DOHC ZC with low compression issues(timing or head issues) i did a compression test and got 105- 115 on all cylinders if anybody knows what might cause this let me know lol i think the guy got the JDM swap and didnt do the head right and thats why its not running properly im probably gona do the head all over cause im almost sure valves got bent

bumper is in good condition :D

tokiko blues? egay suspension anyone?

so im wondering what build should i continue and keep...i thought of selling my ef for about a 1000 and spend the money on the crx but i dont know if its such a good idea due to the fact that crx interior parts are hard to find(if anybody got any crx interior parts for sale in the miami area let me know)

on the other hand i can take out the DOHC ZC and the tranny links and pedal assembly to do my 5 speed conversion on my ef and do the crx front end conversion as well i just wanted to know whats your opinion...any positive criteria and suggestions are welcome

also i got a few questions are 90-91 civic hoods compatible with 90-91 crx hoods?

is a crx climate control compatible with a civic climate control?
and what other parts should i take off my crx for my civic if i was to part it out which is more than likely to happen lol

Yeah, the hoods are the same and so are clusters. I think I saw write up on a crx having civic climate controls but I dunno.

I'm a crx guy, but right now I'm leaning in the hatchs direction. lol

Cleaner and you could swap over the zc and make it a 5speed! A crx front end would be awesome!! but kinda difficult...

Keep the hatch and sell the crx to someone that is ready for a BIG project.

The hoods from the cars are interchangeable.
The climate controls and front end parts are not interchangeable.

If you want a CRX badly then buy my rust-free '89 HF.

i know i could but the price would be well over 1700 which is ridiculous here in miami there are only a few STOCK and clean civics/crxs and those who own them want to make billions of profit and those who rice them twice as much and crxs are harder to find than civics here so im not looking for a crx but now that i have one im trying to see my options..
i think im going to build my ef better unless anybody in miami has a FULL black crx interior

imo i would just strip the rex for the 5 speed conversion and any other parts you can use or sell then junk it.
