ebay traction bars??

Default ebay traction bars??

has any one tried the ebay traction bars? how did they fit and did you feel a differnce? can i use traction bars if i have a front mount intercooler?? i tried searching but came up with nothing.
i would like responses from people who have used ebay traction bars...

my friend had one on his boosted ef hatch... untill it broke... he has a full race one now...

I have one on my hatch. It held up fine when I was driving. There's a guy around here that builds some and they look pretty heavy duty, and aren't that expensive. PM me and I'll get you his info. Or if you've ever heard of Skinny Kid Racing or something along that line...

The point of traction bars is basically more support for your front end. it helps prevent wheel hop and keep the tires on the ground. I also hear that it improves handling.

If you just have a DD with basic bolt-on's traction bars probably wouldn't do much for you.
If you are drag or autocross and have some serious power, it's an option to consider.

I personally have little experience with traction bars. My old EG Hatch had traction bars. It was a D15Z so as far as traction goes I never had that problem lols but it definitely seemed to handle well.

how tight do you have to tighten these two rods(connecting LCR and the cross bar)? is it suppose to hear "click, click"? while accelerate or deccelerate?
