Not working Speedo/Trip/Cruise/Vtec B18c
Alright guys I have a 94 ej1 with a ODB-1 b18c swap in it that i picked up first off i replaced the VSS with another one from a friends car that works and still nothing. When i first bought the car i had a sporadic speedo and an intermittent vtec the cruise control would engage then stop when the speedo jumped around. I have code #7 TPS but no VSS code. After I cleaned the vss completely stopped working
Here are the symptoms
-No Vtec
-No Cruise control
-No trip
-No miles
-Code 7
Im stumped Help me out guys

I think code 7 is the cause of no VTEC and cruise control. Therefore, fix the TPS code and try swapping in a known good cluster. Also check the wire running between the cluster and VSS.
The TPS is getting the correct 5 reference volts from the ECU, so now test the output voltage from the middle wire. It should be about 0.5V at closed throttle and about 4.5V at WOT. If not, calibrate the TPS to have these readings.
hmmm alright ill test it tommorrow also the plug was broken when i picked up the car for the tps and it was zip tied together, im a little confused on the calibration of the TPS anything special i need to do?
just replaced TPS with a working trottle body the code doesnt come on till i drive it for a little bit, then when i go to check it out it seems to be cleared again, also after i threw the new tps in the speedo work for a half mile then stopped again so im thinking its the vss connector
does anyone know where to get a new vss connector clip acura says a need to buy a new harness but i only need one clip

Just slice one off of a car at the bone yard, get new pins and replace the old plug with the new. When you have the plug off make sure that you don't have an issue somewhere else in the harness. I just had to do this for a headlight plug which would decide to turn the passenger low beam off as it saw fit. One of the wires looked like it had been chewed up right at the plug.
UPDATE CAR FIXED!!
i replaced the vss plug it turned out to be the whole problem was the VSS plug one pin was bent down so there was only contact every once and a while causing the speedo to go crazy.
One problem did arise which the idle seems a little high at times and then when i was at a stoplight it surges from 1000 rpm to 1500 rpm back and forth
