im only getting it to drive for right now, then i will do either a head or complete swap, my buddy might be doing something with his si, so I might get the MPFI set.
The valve train looks like it belongs back in the bronze age lol. What kind of pad did you use to remove the gasket off the head? Looks like some good progress
ya the MC is new, i put it on the took it off, and back on again, I never used duralast but its a limited lifetime, and a few of my friends say they work just fine, $150 for clutch kit and $65 for brand new oem flywheel.
Not bad! I remember buying an OEM clutch one for my wife's old car but surprisingly it was a little bit less than $200.
Good luck with the project!

Im not sure the type, my step dad has them, but when i get back to the house i will see, they are like a soft semi stiff cleaning pad, works GREAT.

bit of advise, buy a head gasket for a z6 or a y8. will save you time and energy in the long run. the graphite ones SUCK. i'm currently using a y8 h/g on my d15b1 and i've had no problems with the gasket.
car looks NICE, i've kind of grown a soft spot for the chocolate brown interior.

good advice, im only using this gasket for a few... i plan on getting a vtec head for it shortly and then i shall get a diff head gasket.
whats wrong with the graphite ones, if u dont mind me asking. Weak?
Yikes... if you go metal head gasket, be sure to check the head and the block and make sure they are straight. If they are not, then get them milled... or just go with the stock gasket.
i find that the metal head gaskets are easyer to work with, plus they are re usable. you don't have the massive dirty clean up to worry about with them, unlike the graphite gaskets
Thanks guys, Today me and my brother did sum more work on the 4door, put new balljoints in and re connected everything, oil, plugs and wires went in, and when we had everything ready to start it up... we ran into a small problem with... we think is some wires leading to the dizzy, when i went to crank it over it would make a loud BUZZING noise and the check engine light came on, but if my bro would tweak the wires around the noise would stop, but we lost day light and he is going to see what it is in the morning, ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?
