I have tried installing oem ctr rear lip on a 96 hatch rear bumper and seems like it doesn't fit. Either has the holes for the the rear lip.

My question is that does 99 rear bumper for hatch different from 96 ones? Does it fit the oem ctr rear lip or I have to get a jdm rear bumper?

Any suggestions or info would be appreciated.
