So I currently have these 17" konig's on my EJ1 and I am so tired of the rubbing I think I'm just gonna sell them and get some 15" steelies for now.

Two of the tires they have on are in fair condition and the other two need to be replaced.

So my questions are:

1. How much should I put these for on craigslist?

and

2. Do you think someone might be willing to trade for 15" steelies with some new or at least good tires?

i dont see why you couldnt trade for some steelies with some decent tires on them. I would give you 300 hundred for the wheels.

yeah, I'm gonna leave em on just because two of them still have some decent tread.

 

The tire in the last picture looks flat. You should sell them and get some HX wheels.

Yeah, its on craigslist, but nothing so far. I wonder if I should just straight up put "wtt 17's for 15's" or something like that for the title instead of for sale.

 

I just noticed the finish was coming off. You might dismount the tires, trash the two garbage ones, sell the two ok ones for $40, and hope that pays towards a re-finish of some sort (powdercoat maybe). Then someone might trade you for 15's. I'm sure if you advertised wtt 17's for 15's you'll get a lot of kids asking why and probably interested.

 

The only probably is that it's my DD so I don't know how I could powdercoat em, sell em, and buy new rims/tires within a weekend.

 

right. Maybe someone would still trade you as it is. But, I would think that someone wanting 17's would want them with a good finish.

It "Slow Rained" today. Looked like snow coming down, but didn't stick to anything. Now it's just raining and getting rid of any little bit that did stick. I'm sure Snoqualmie is getting dumped on lately though (with all the rain we've had here).
