help burning gas like no tommorrow on eg gsr swapped
i put on a new skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body and like im burning through gas like no tommorrow i have no vacuum leaks only thing i did different was i didnt use those rubber bushings things on the fuel rail because it didnt let the rail sit low enough. i have no fuel leaks no leaks at all. and i ahd to wire in one obd2 fuel injector because the other one had a crack in the plastic housing..... i dont get it i went through 3/4 a tank and drove about 50 miles it smells like gas horribly when im drivin
if it was fine prior to installation, something is obviously hooked up wrong, changing itm and tb would not do this. idk where to start, maybe someone else can help. my brain is fried for the week. if its pour fuel out the exhaust, i don't see how its even running normal enough to drive, thus you shouldn't be driving it around.

You did a hurry-up job, now one or more of the fuel injectors is stuck open. You need to install the correct fuel injectors and O-rings and wire them correctly. When done there, you also need to change the engine oil.
y change the oil? and i didnt know what to do with the little rubber spacers because with them the injectors werent even seated in the lil holes in the manifold.
ok will do i will be tearing it apart after i find an injector and do some research on what to do bout the spacers thanks for the info i was stumped .
maybe somethin is wrong with the injectors? was the swap ever boosted cuz i boosted my ls and had to have my ecu chipped for fuel management. but if your ecu is unchipped then i have no idea.
Good luck
Good luck
whats been suggested should solve the problem.
Excess fuel will wash out the cylinders and the remove oil from the rings, this can cause some damage to the block. 3/4 of a tank in gas for 50 miles is some serious fuel dumping.
