Soo i was thinking of getting some fiber glass fenders
i have a question though since they r not pre drilled do i just drill slowy and carefully to make holes for the bolts

yes you just drill slowly through them. Start off with a small drill bit, and then work your way up to the correct size bit. I'd at least get a drill bit about half the size you need, then use the size that you need, but still take your time

I am gonna say it before nirVtec, do you really need fiberglass fenders?

 

I didn't even use pilot holes, because I really didn't care about breaking mine. They held up fine.

Do you have stock ones that you're going to be getting rid of?

 

if you do...do it might use a little piece of tape and drill through the tape...you know the same way you drill wholes in the carbon fiber hoods...i dunno if you actually have to do that but its better safe then sorry right

 

What's the fitment like on these fenders? Are they generally the same width as OEM? I could really use some fenders that are 10mm to 20mm wider at the fender opening for wider front tires...

 

lol i am geting them because 1 its my car im going to change the sytle to suit me.
2. my fenders are all sorts of screwed up and the z3 fenders are pretty cool looking to me.imo
and yes they fit like oem
idk how much wider they are
