Debating the one windshield wiper mod...what do you think?

It just makes no sense to me, in a downpour i can't see **** with both wipers going. i'd hate to have just one. but i guess things that don't make sense is the essense of rice

 

and just to add this...Mercedes uses the "one wiper mod"

I have also seen it on some Japanese road race cars***cough**spoon***cough**

It's ok unless your wiper sticks halfway up the windshield when the wiper is turned off. That looks funny...

 

if you want ONE wiper, buy a M-B.

 

One wiper used only if driver is centered in the car IMO.

 

but if your car is on the street, you arent road racing. and it takes longer for the wiper to do its job when there is only one so it could hinder your visibility further. i wouldnt do it, i like 2 wipers

and i agree, it does look pretty retarded with the wiper halfway up the windshield.

Well, if I go through with it I'm going with the Chrome-Mexi special wiper! Then adding the neon squirters to round out the mods.

 

I think it's the coolest. Since most of the cars with that mod are touring cars, why can't mine ?

 

I said "Okay, just not my style." I would never do it but to each his own.

 

I think its retarded looking and in a downpour I think it would be a safety issue, unless you buy a faster motor for the arm.

How is it non-functional? Last time I checked the wiper still works, and covers teh same amount of area as 2 wipers.
