My little brother's 90 CRX was stolen about 45 minutes ago from his work at Ross in Moreno Valley, CA. It's primered black with a "root beer brown" hood with hood pins, fenders (same color) and the passenger fender has the cutout for the JDM sidemarker, but no marker. It has an aftermarket moonroof, LS mesh rims that are painted bronze with silver lip and a rear disc brake conversion. The 91 Prelude fogs were just installed on the car as well. It also has HID 8000k headlights. Forgot to mention it has the GSR dark cloth seats too.

That sucks man, but... Why in the hell would they want to steal that POS? Sounds like an inside job if they knew specifics.

It's the stock DX motor, nothing done to it at all.

To N3va, that wasn't necessary. The car was bought as a project car with no hood, fenders, bumper and some crappy halo-eye lights. He got all the parts necessary and was prepping the car for paint. It was a very reliable car, getting 40+ MPG around town.

HeH... The only reason I said that is you never said what motor was in it. So I just assUme-ed that there was something nice in it. As I said it must have been an inside job... I will do my part and keep on the look out for a CRX like that.

you cali folks got it bad. Sucks that about 25% of the people in the tuning scene steal cars. GL finding it.

 

what sucks is that this took place a couple blocks from my crib...anybody who dares walks up in my driveway and trys to fu*k with my ride will end up a permanent vegetable once i get through with them

We got a call Christmas morning from the police, they found the car!

Bad news: A tree fell on top of it after it was torn apart. Seats, steering wheel, all the suspension and wheels are missing (including lower control arms). All of the glass including head lights and tail lights were smashed (except the fog lights, they weren't touched lol).

Good news: The dash, cluster, door panels, carpet ALL of the personal trunk/hatch pieces were in the car and in good condition. The motor/trans, hubs and rear disc brakes are still there. They had cut the driver side plug of the engine harness but other than that, it looks complete and untouched.
