Questions: Clutch issue & power issue.
Hey, I have an '01 prelude SH, with issues. I finally managed to fix the CEL problem, which I thought was going to restore a little bit of power, but not really. When I bought the car I was told there was a lot of work done to it (mild port/polish, all new "S" type internals, new timing belt, 3 angle race setup of valves, "S" type cams, custom chip, advanced timing, etc.) but it is only just about as fast as my buddies base model prelude (5th gen, near stock). I do not know if it has been tuned or not, and the guy the builder sold it to who owned it before me apparently beat on it alot.
I was reading a thread on this forum the other day which mentioned he has oil in his intake manifold and they said it could either be blow-by or PCV. I know for a fact that when I changed my PCV hose to a breather filter by WeaponR that there was some oil residue (wet) inside the hose. Since I changed it I haven't seen any oil in the hose.
My question is: If it is not producing the power it should, what could a likely issue be? Also, is there any way to check for blow-by without running a compression test or ripping my manifold off? Also, what exactly does "tuning" the car involve? Dynoing it and tweaking the fuel/air ratio or something?
Second question: My clutch is apparently a stage 3, 6 puck deal. It's starting to be a pain in the *** when it comes from shifting into 1st and Reverse. Also shifting through the other gears is not as smooth as it should. The slave cylinder is not visibly leaking and the clutch doesn't grab really low to the floor. Any thoughts? (I'm going to bleed the clutch this friday, see if that helps, but I was told it prolly won't do much.)
Thank you for your help.

Well the power issue is mostly resolved, I was losing some power cuz I had my A/C on. >.<
But I still would like to know how I can tell if I have any blow-by and what my clutch issue might be.
