Accord 93 - Ingition Timing Setting
Greetings to all,
Could you please tell me where to find the ignition marks on the engine block so that I can check the ignition timing?
I looked at the crank shaft pully and all I could see is 4 round holes on the face of the pully.
I could not find any marks (the usual one with the saw teeth and grooves).
Also, I would like to know how to check the RPM of the engine when setting the timing? What tool to use?
As you know, the RPM meter on the dashboard is not that accurate.
Thanks and regards
Ista

for setting timing, its on the flywheel on the 93 accord. theres an access port on the transmission.
as far as checking your rpm's, you'll probably need a meter such as a fluke w/ the rpm test leads that hook up to battery and ignition wires...
