Default What to get for ~275 for 5th gen

My friends b-day is coming up soon and we were wondering what would be good to get him in the $250-300 range. He's already getting some spoon bars, has an intake, bodykit and going to go for the mugen exhaust. I was thinking maybe JDM fogs or AEM pullies? What do all ya prelude freaks think? =P

AEM pulleys would be a good gift. But if he has a nice powered stereo system you might want to buy him a capacitor too or make him buy it himself

Or you could also buy him some lowering springs I'm not sure how much JDM fogs cost but that would be a good gift too.

jdm fogs would be a perfect gift. aem pulleys... eh, nothin too special (and only $135) you could thinkin about getting him a header. id say, a header or jdm fogs. OR actually, you could get him springs, and aem pulleys. does he have springs yet?

peace

You can also get him a vtec controller or sway bars or spoon/mugen thermostat

oOOOoo sway bars *yummmmmm*

good idea, suspension techniques sway bars go for arround $200-$250 for the set. GREAT mod. he'll definately love it.

vtec controller, another good idea.

but this is knd of jumping a head. he shoudl get springs before sway bars, and get his basic i/h/e before a vafc.

peace

he has ground controls on stock shocks, but I think he is getting either koni yellows or mugen exhaust next, besides those are outta our price range =P.

wutangben: Where can I get some more info on those sway bars? (damn his car is gonna handle better than mine soon)

He already has some ghetto dc header and no system so can't get him no stereo stuff.

If I were to get the pullies what else would be good to get in the 120 range? He already has shift **** too.

http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...=yes&dept=1479

good price on those sway bars. $218 plus shipping. call and make sure they are in stock before ordering.

im trying to think of somethign else you could get him.... im usually into the non-rice ideas. so a shift **** i wouldnt have even thought about maybe hes a gauge person, and you could get him a few gauges... maybe you could get hima cf hood?

i think your best options are,

sway bars
jdm fogs
vafc

Do preludes need the front and rear sways to handle more neutral? In my car I just needed a bigger rear bar to get the car handling neutral. Is this the same with preludes or do you usually get both?

please please please do not just get the rear bar. you NEED both. they were designed as a set. if you want better handling, you want both. i drove my car with just the rear bar and was very disappointed. the front bar made a world of a difference. there was still crazy body roll with just the rear. ever hear of snap oversteer? you NEED both bars, i cannot stress enough.

peace
