recently bought a 92 prelude with h22 vtec.(first honda) supposedly all stock besides intake and headers. when i bought it had cel for knock sensor. put new one in and code went away. but now have cel 8 and 22. was going to check timing and see if its on for code 22(tdc sensor). if not should i get a new distributor??

and for code 8,(oil is full) i found the vtec oil pressure switch. and there is two wires yellow and black coming out of it, and they look new. (wondering if someone before tried fixing it?. is there away to check continuity with the key on acc? or just go buy a new sensor? were does the wires goto. havent had much time to look and follow the wires. im guessing black is a ground, but both yellow and black wires go thru the firewall


also i found 92 preludes didnt come with h22 vtec? didnt realize this when i bought the car. could the car be like a 1992 and a half and have vtec? or swapped?

look in faq cel 22 is vtec pressure and 8 is u can look it up

-8 is TDC POSITION (TDC SENSOR)

-pretty sure all 92 preludes arnt vtec correct me if i am wrong

-the oil pressure wire from the vtec solenoide connect directly to the ecu
