Icon2 Dog Box shifting ??

Well I just had some questions on how my dog box should feel when I shift it , To me it feels like a trans with bad syncros when you shift , is this right ? I notice to the faster you shift it the less it feels this way , I might sound stupid but I just want to know if this is right , lol

yes thats how it will feel. the harder you shift it the smoother it will engage.

In other words beat the **** out of it al the time, even hen driving through the pits shift it like you were going down the track.

On a dogbox, shifting slow does more damage, the face dogs start to get rounded and then the gears start to pop out.

We have used the RL Shockproof on some synchro boxes and had poor results. We use Torco RTF in our PPG B Box and have taken the trans apart many times since and everything looks great. Not saying the RL is not the way to go, just what we have had success with.
