Is My DC2 Tranny F$#@ed Up..
Sup HT. A couple of weeks ago i smashed up the front end of my Integra. The car definately will not drive due to a broken axle and i think a bent tie rod end. During the accident i think i destoryed my transmission. I have one side of my car up on a jack and when i rev the engine in neutral my speedometer starts moving along with the RPM gauge. Does this mean i need a new transmission? I was thinking about just buying a shell cause my CEL is on due to a missing O2 sensor. Do you guys think its worth the fix or should i just buy a shell?
nuetral can drag some. if the tranny housing is ok, the trans is most likely ok.
unless your wreck slid sideways jamming the axle into the trans i wouldn't worry about it.

The dude who had it before me hacked off one of the o2 sensors and did something to the wiring. He ended up welding something to the pipe. I was trying to ask around to see if its a easy fix but havent had any responses yet. As far as the tranny goes the casing definately looks in good shape but i done know if i destroyed my gears or not.
If the case isn't cracked the gears are fine (at least from the wreck).
Fixing the o2 is normal. Just pickup a Helms and get friendly with the wiring diagrams.
