you can engage vtec, depending on the code. Put most codes you really can't engage.
being that you are having codes for the auto tranny, it will not engage.
i'm pretty sure you already have tried though.

i measured voltage at the ECU VTEC pin and it shows 12v only on 7000 RPM, not on 5300 rpm as it should, but after 7000rpm! ****, i can't understand anything
one more: i've disconected vtec valve solenoid and vtec pressure switch connectors and engine accelerates as before, but scuks on 6000 rpm, the car is heavy like it has D16Y7

There are only certain CELs that will cause VTEC not to kick in.

VSS
CTS
VTEC
MAP
possibly IAT
TPS
And RPM related lights.

Your car is probably having an issue with the automatic ECU being in there. The automatic ECU may tie VTEC in with some sort of gear sensing. Or the VSS signal is different. I'm pretty sure that automatic VSSes are different from manual ones.

Go get a manual VTEC ECU and see what happens.

You do need the manual IM and IAC. You also need a manual ECU. Even with a P28, you'll need the manifold and IAC.
