In Japan, on the newstands S2000 in coupe.

But the biggest kicker is displacement went from 2.0L to 2.2L

2.2L really. it definitely needs that.

now if they will make a 2.75L 5 cylinder, that would be cool.

Hope it looks like that white photo-shopped joint that used to be on http://www.S2ki.com! If its in that same realm I could see it happpening. But other shots I've seen of an S transformed have all been garbage.

It's all about balance, anything over 2.0 litre and or 4 cylinder design, and you're dealing with counter-balance shafts and junk...not cool.
