what up my nigas, i just got the poormans typer rebuilt done to my gsr over the summer i ran a 16.8 here up at bandimere speedway.. i made the dumb *** decision of going all motor ...ya i know so i picked up a new vcn2000 venom ntirous kit off craigs, now my question is what is th"MOST" shot i can run on my set up im thinkin 80 for the track 50 for the streets. since thyre ctr pistons i dont really know if that affects how much spray i can run anyways lmk!!

You ran a 16.8 with a slightly modded GSR? I'm pretty sure a stock LS runs a better time than that, I think you have other problems that you should be looking in to. But anyway yeah 40-50 shot will be fine as long as you get it tuned for it.

 

ok naw man its cool you dont know what your talking about along with most people who live close to see level 5,500 feet affects your time by about 2 second so thanks for your input.

 

Tuning will def be your friend. 50 shot and it will most likely be rich at the manufactures jet suggestions due to the density altitude of your location. May want to consult a local tuner familiar with n2o and your air conditions.

 

Your car is still fuel injected correct? Haha, as long as you're tuned your elevation shouldn't matter. Not 2 seconds anyway.

 

2 seconds is way off at only 5500. Look niga, do some good research. Learn to use periods and capitals too.

hey man i believe you about the 2 sec 1/4 mile loss. i think that you could be runnin 480 for the track maybe even 550 on the streets. hope you run a better time with the nitrous!

 

I think a better tune would improve your times a lot, as for nitrous id go with a 55 shot or so better safe than sorry.

Yo my homeboyz what's funny is how right he was...lol I bought my teg in July and have put 7,962 miles on it, until this week I worked mon-fri about 11 miles from my house. Those aren't commuter miles. I have became pretty familiar with driving my car. Every other weekend I take a cruise into the Local national forest, as all logging roads are of the finest tarmac =]. They range from 1000-6000ft in elevation. I will say that by the time I am above 3500ft it is pretty obvious my car is starving. Pikes Peak for instance?lol I'm surprised it's only 2 seconds... Although you're tuned at that level and I'm not. Which on that note, I must add, engines make considerably less hp at high altitude. I CRF450 can be 65hp tuned @ sea level and 51hp tuned @ 5000ft...
