I read here on HT somewhere about better replacements for 92-95 Civic windshield squirters than the stock units.
I searched and couldn't find anything, anybody remember reading about that?
Just want to make sure before I go buy some replacements, I could have swore someone wrote something about using RSX or the newer Civic squirters which have the nicer spray pattern. And the best part it was supposedly plug and spray!
Any info will be appreciated.

i believe you're talking about the rsx nozzles. I'm not sure about the civics, but i do know that the rsx nozzles spray in a fan pattern as opposed to just 2 streams.

Yes, I just want to know if they (RSX nozzles) fit into the stock hood with too much grinding.
Thanks for the info about the Fit nozzles also, I'll pop one off my Fit and see if it "fits" on my EJ1..

Basically, the RSX squirters or a 99-01 CRV. Not sure about the 97-98 CRVs - they might be different.

Good to know that I wasn't crazy and I did read it somewhere!
I'll just find the cheaper windshield wiper nozzles and install them. I guess I will buy them new from the dealer.

They work. I have a 99 CRV and they're identical to the 2000, and I've swapped the nozzles.
Really, the bigger difference on CRVs is between 97-98 and 99-01, when they swapped the B20b for the B20z, and added an overdrive button. Body and interior-wise though, they're 99.9% identical between the 1st gen and the 1st and a half gen.

really? That's interesting.
I wonder if the older CRVs have the dual squirt Civic style instead of the RSX fan style. I'll guarantee they're the exact same size and shape between 96-01, but there must be something different if they have a different part number.

Just got some RSX ones ordered from the dealer, $23.40 for a set of 2 new washer nozzles.
They should be in tomorrow and ready to be swapped out.
