We made this to hook up an oil cooler on a K24 hybrid. The input to the cooler is from the block, similar to the K20. The outlet goes to the other end of the head where I think the heater core would normally attach and go through the firewall. The copper pieces were just temporary, and have been replaced with the custom stainless part. The angles on the saddle joint took a while to get right before welding it; I have a new respect for you guys building manifolds. The aluminum hose barb was pretty simple to do on the lathe.

wait im sorry what are you doing?
why not just buy a oil cooler?
ive learned from my mistakes not to home make anything that has to do with oil....
i love your idea i will try that with my shifter cart..

We did buy an oil cooler. The custom parts let us put an oil cooler from a K20 onto a K24 block. The coolant is routed differently, mainly because of the difference in water pumps. The homebuilt copper fitting arrangement was good enough to get going, and it was later replaced with the custom bent/welded stainless part.
