14" Wheel on 03 EP3??? Will it Fit??
I've been searching with no luck.
Anyone know if i can fit a 14" Wheel on a 2003 Civic EP3 (SI Hatch). 4 x 100 Bolt Pattern.?
Trying to go small as possible for Winter Wheels/Tires. If i can drop down to a 14" i can save a whole heap load. Please let me know if anyone has tried this. Thanks.

Umm.. don't you have 5 lug? I seriously thought so.. lmk if I am just retarded..
Well, if you do have the 4x100 lug pattern, yes they would fit. If the lugs fit then there isn't really a problem in downgrading. However, downgrading that much tire would be counter productive imo. might as well just put on the cheapest winter/all season tires that you can get a hold of for the wheels you have. If you are worried about sliding or grip so you get winter tires, then lessening the amount of tire that grips the road is just as bad.. fwd should be fine anyhow. I use all seasons throughout the winter and never had a problem.

lol ya i thought it was weird as well. I know that when i think about saving money, that's not where i would think to do it, just on tire money maybe. Hurts my heart to downgrade lol
if you are trying to save money tires aren't the exact way to go! Btw you'll have a much better selection of tires in the 15 then the 14... As well as the size you will need will be very ackward for the EP3. The EP3 already came with small tires stock and you are going to downgrade??? Makes little to no sense!
Don't take it as critismes but maybe see if you could find a better solution then downgrading!

I rocked HX wheels last winter. They fit fine in the rear but I needed 3mm spacers up front to clear the brakes. Also, as for winter tires, it's recommended to use a skinnier tire with a larger sidewall. A good winter 185 width tire would be better for the winter time than a 225 with tire.
On a side note: If you planned on using spacers, make sure not to get anyting bigger than 5mm with stock wheel studs.

I was actually gonna ask the same thing today, because I saw a set of del sol wheels with Blizzaks on craigslist and wasn't sure if they'd clear the brakes.
But if you're right Josh, I'll use my 5mm spacers and pray it works lol

Yeah i was just wondering about brake clearance.
I've always been told Large Sidewall, Skinny Tires are the best for the harsh Canadian Winters.
Steel Rims & Tires for 14's are what i have on my Accord also, and it's plenty of grip and it was super cheap. Yokohama IG20's
