Need help accord wont start....
Hi everybody, yesterday my accord just stopped workin in the middle of the road, I tryied to start it back but nothing, I thought it was the fuel pump cus I couldn't hear it, but this morning I replaced the main relay and worked for a lil bit and then it died again, checked all the fuses and all of them are good, any suggestions?? by the way is a 92 accord with an f22a6 thanx in advance for any responces...
make sure you are actually getting fuel...you can crack loose the line at the fuel filter for a quick check..also check to make sure you get spark...
I get spark, I thought it was the fuel pump, but the fact that by changing the main relay made it work for a lil while threw me off, I'll check for fuel delivery now, thanx guys...
Main relay is mostly a problem during hot temps. I have a 92 accord ex and had the same issue. Turned out to be my cap and rotor. Rotor over time gets loose and while it is firing, may not be firing when it is suppose too. When I checked the rotor it was not staying in position correctly. Replaced with a new 1 and started right up.
hello i have a 91 honda accord standard 2.2 and it also just died in the middle of the road. we thought that we could change the filter and rotor and cap also the ignition module we changed, we also changed the spark plugs and none of these work. the more and more we change something it sounds more like its gonna start but doesnt. anyone know what it could be?
