My car started making a knocking sound as of yesterday.

The sound ONLY occurs when the car is cruising. When I accelerate, brake, or the car is idling there is no sound.

The car just had it's oil changed as of today, and the tank is full of premium gasoline.

Note that I Stop pressing the gas at about 17 seconds, and then I cruise until about 48 seconds (at which point I start to brake and the noise stops). I begin with the windows open and close them halfway through.



Any Thoughts?

 

Check that all of your lug nuts are tight.
I found this same condition last month; customer had the same complaint.

Drivers side front tire lug nuts were a bit loose. Drove it around for a bit, and it sounds great now.
