I rebuilt the engine in a 1992 Accord and now after it warms up it starts to sputter. It's not skipping per say just sputters. If you go WOT it runs fine till the redline. From idle to 3500 it sputters under light load but under hard acceleration it runs fine. It is throwing a 43 code which is fuel system code. During the rebuild I replaced the fuel filter. I have never changed it before it had 157,000 miles on it that I know of. Any Ideas on what could be going on. Did I get a bad fuel filter? The car was running fine before the rebuild other than the clutch was going out in it. It had 355,000 on it at the rebuild point.
