rear disc conversion q's
i got a 99 civic i got the whole trailing arm assmbly off a integra, my question is can i just bolt the hub and all the brake stuff to my stock trailing arm or do i have to use the integra arm also . i just wanna knwo what all is invloved in doing this and i read somethign about torx bolts holding one of them together not sure if it is the drum brakes or the disc ? any help is greatly appreciated
u can bolt everything to ur stock trailing arm , however the integra trailing arm will bolt on just fine too.My advice is to just take out ur stock trailing arms and put the dc2 ones is along with the dc2 e-brake cables , and thats it
If the Integra arm is that bad you'll probably find out soon that the hub bolts won't come out. Good luck with those, they're a bastard if they're seized.
Now might be the time to press new bushings into those trailing arms and install them as complete assemblies.
