looking for a diy on how to wire up some edm rear fog lights . i dont want to make it too ghetto . looking for something more factory loooking . planning to use oem rear fog switch

im not being an **** or anything. what is the purpose, not that it doesnt look cool.

 

well my wife is gona be taking the car to the snow this winter in utah . and there have some days here in the bay where fog is ridiculous hard to see and i want her to be safe . i also just added oem front fogs this past week they work amazing .although i love they way they look im mainly doing it for safety. i want the car to be seen

 

i would say run them from the front fogs as long as they are working proerly. can you post some pics of what they look like? i googled it and came up with nothing but parts pics.

 

ive seen a few in person in day and they are pretty bright during the day and ive seen one at night and it really stands out.

Winter in UT isn't that bad. There are usually only like one or two days out of the year where the snow is so bad you can't see.

Otherwise, just splice directly from the front fogs.

 

just hook it up to the far rear light bulb that no body uses .. there wont be a switch , will only turn on when you turn on your lights

 

hook it up to a power source with a fuse and a switch...pretty simple! just like the front fogs

 

Wow, bad advice here. Don't hook it up to the front fogs. Follow my DIY (check sig) for an idea of how to wire it up. It's for a 5th Gen Civic, but IIRC the fuse box on a 94-01 Integra is the same (or similar) part, so that aspect of the job will be the same. The rest will be just a matter of adapting the DIY to the Integra. You'll need the correct rear fog lamp, though... in the Civic the rear fog is integrated into an inner tail lamp. I don't believe that's the case with the Integra?
