New Personal Best with Roop's Civic 9.70 @ 157

Default New Personal Best with Roop's Civic 9.70 @ 157
Took the car to Etown this past wednesday to run the car on a real track. Previous best was a 10.00 @ 149 @ island dragway. Pulled the car off the trailer same as ran at island and ran a 9.88 @ 154. Played with the NLR a little and ran a 9.70 @ 157. Still need to throw another 10 lbs or so at in 3rd gear and it should go in 50s. Didn't get any timeslips for either run as we were not legal. Car weighs 2470 with driver. He was told by the track to load the car on the trailer or the troopers would help him do it after the second pass. Car will be going to NRGTech next month for a cage, window net, chute, etc. Can't wait until next season. SFWD in the NY/NJ/CT/PA/DE/MD/VA area is going to be crazy.

p.s. video isn't the greatest...it's what you get when you are staging the car and taping at the same time..lol. I think that Julian from Nyce1s.com got better footage.

why does everyone forget delaware? i know we aint hte fastest, but we are trying. he hee.

BTW....I AGREE ISLAND DRAGWAY IS THE SH!TIEST TRACK AROUND....I ALMOST DIED TRYING TO STOP MY CAR @ 150MPH....LOL

BW S372 (No Race Cover)
its making over 800 HP, dyno shut off at 750 HP due to overheating.

Sometimes on hot days after repeated use itll act up other wise fine.
