ok so my thrermostat went bad, so i replaced it. after that it ran like ****. so i continued to allow all the air out of coolant line. ok fine. but still idles between 2k an 3k back an forth like when an iacv goes bad. now i take the 2 prong plug off the iacv, and idle drops to 500 and jumps to 1100 back an forth but never shut off. so , i take off the iacv and the screen was nasty. so i clean it. put it back on. still same idle. next i take air filter off and cover inlet to the intake mani with my hand it sucked my hand in pretty good but it never stalled it actually ran pretty good covered ?????? wtf !!!!! any suggestions

 

sounds like a vacuum leak. get some brake cleaner and spray that ish up near the IM.
