1997 Accord - Built H22 All Motor / Volk / Apexi

I have for sale a 1997 Honda Accord. Here is the full story behind this car. The car was built basically from scratch by my buddy Jeff, he did basically all of the mods and wrench time. In 2005, my buddy bought a S2000 so I picked up this Accord from him because I always adored it. I put maybe 1k miles on the car from 2005 -2006 then I sold it to a good friend Carl (He still owns this car I'm just helping him sell it because I know the history of it). Carl has probably only logged around 5k miles on the car since 2006. It has been kept in a climate controlled garage its entire life until Spring 2009 when the owner bought a new Honda. Since the purchase of the new Honda this car has seriously only been started 2-3 times and probably 50-100 miles on it this year. The drivetrain in the car is a JDM H22, the head has been ported/polished/3-angle valvejob and fitted with a complete Skunk2 Stage II valvetrain including camshafts and cam gears. The block is sleeved and has 11.5:1 compression JE pistons mated to Golden Eagle rods. Some other motor modifications include RC 400CC injectors, AEM coldair intake (painted bronze), new style Skunk2 intake manifold, Greddy EVO catback exhaust, C&R Racing Radiator, JDM Type-S valve cover, and many powdercoated, polished, or carbon pieces. The transmission is a automatic H22 with a custom hi-stall converter, I personally think that if mated to a manual trans this car would be FAST. The exterior of the car is painted House of Kolors TRU-BLUE pearl, it is a great paintjob that cost about $4,000 but since sitting outside for a almost a year is starting to show its age. The rims are bronze 17" Volk TE-37s with brand new Summitumo tires. The suspension consists of Apexi full coilovers, TCS front strut bar, and two random strut bars in the rear and the pillar. It has a VIS carbonfiber hood, VIS Mugen Grill, a ne-off Seibon carbonfiber front lip and a VIS carbonfiber trunk. It also has JDM one peice headlamps., a rear air diffuser and many other small mods. The interior is beige leather, it has a few AutoMeter gauges in the pillars and a Apexi VAFC. The HVAC headunit has been moved to the glove compartment so that gauges could be custom fitted. All stock this was a top of the line model Accord. This car has won trophies ay many car shows including Nopi Nats, World of Wheels, Truck Bash, etc.
The price on this car is FIRM, please no offers and NO TRADES. The motor in this car is worth much more than the asking price. Truthfully sitting outside for a year this car really needs to be cleaned up, the last time it started it was running pretty sluggish which I expected - I think a trans range switch or something has been knocked loose. It needs some real TLC or the motor needs to be dropped into something like a EG hatch for a serious track car. Just last year we put new balljoints in the car, a new steering rack (although the P/S steering system has been deleted and looped), new tires, new Honda brand brakes all around and a new serpentine belt. The exterior is in more than fair shape but the driver's door side molding came off and we replaced it with just a factory black door molding, we have the other three black door moldings for the rest of the doors just not installed. I agree man but this is what he (the owner, my buddy) wants to do. I think he just lost passion for the project and working on it especially with having a new car now.
I sold this car to him for 7k just a couple years ago, it's a hell of a deal.
