old civic owner, new accord owner..?

forget the B18B, start thinking H22/H23, F20B.

yeah, you should consider something with a little more..................volume.

the 1.8 havent got the same kinda "pop" in an accord because its a wee bit heavier then the civics, the gen before that had a 1.8 sohc but is was mainly just a gas miser.

though an accord that would accept the b18 would be the third gen models, by swappin out the a20.

and even then you'd need to invest in a hard to find kit to mount it..

my suggestion, sell the B18. there's a good market for it so you shouldn't have much trouble. put the profit towards a H-series swap or turbo... or whatever you see fit.

the reason.. there are kits to put the accords F23A into a civic or integra, adapter plates, mount kits and so on. But, there isn't really anything to take a civic or integra motor and put it in an accord. not impossible, just not practical. a turbo B18B would be plenty for a 2200lb civic, but in your 3000lb sedan, probably no more impressive than the factory V6 model.

B18Bs don't have as much torque as an F-Series motor would. 2000 Accord chasis are too heavy for that 1.8L engine. 2.0 and 2.2 is where its at; Get an H22, H23A DOHC VTEC, or an F20B DOHC VTEC as of motor choice. Obviously, these motors will pull alot stronger.

...Laughs

I have a b16 in my 3000lb accord, doesn't move very fast but it Revs like crazy it's awesome. ALmost like it's crying. Like a little guy carrying a fat man.

How hard is it to convert to Solar Energy over battery? I've been thinking about hooking jumper cables from the battery directly to my spark plugs for maximum spark efficiency. I know, Im Brilliant
