Default fg2 sri on my dc5..

hey guys, my friend gave me a sri from his fg2 and it fits and all except for the bridge part.. which isn't long enough to go into the whole where in the o2 sensor would go for the civic.. so i just ghetto tapd it for now.. do you think i can get an extension on that bridge piece? i mean.. i feel like i get a rubber hose from advanced auto parts and call it a day..
and will it hurt if i keep it open for a little bit? i mean i know it will cause a little more heat in the engine bay and cause its a sri i might lose a little power until i get it fixed but i wana get some other suggestions haha.

hey cant blame me the intake was free!!! it sounds great tooo vtec screamssss lol

thanks guys

LOL at someone to cheap to buy correct parts for his car......you do realize that your stock air box takes in cool air from the colection tube...a sri just sucks in hot air from under the hood.
