drag racing setup
i have koni yellows/gc set up with 400f/300r and was wondering if the front if its hurting me at the strip with this type of set up (as far as stiffness, or softness for that matter). just kind of want the theory involved as far as drag racing. is it better to have full soft in front and hard in rear so the tires bite more during shifts? give me some insight please. thanks
From my experience, you don't want super soft in the front and super stiff in the rear because the front of your car will slam down in between shifts... Maybe others here can chime in but I believe you want a pretty stiff rear and a medium stiff front.
I am still trying to find the sweet spot on my setup but from watching videos of my passes I can tell that soft up front is a no-no...

Usually you want a super stiff rear andamedium front.. Example all the strict drag racing suspension weather it be coilovers or spring usually are 12kf/18kr but this is pretty harsh to drive on the street.
