CEL light on? y?
So today i got my first CEL light. now heres a little background. went to the track on Wed. and car felt "sluggish" so we checked and found that my throttle cable had become very loose...like spaghetti kinda thing..so today we tighten it back up, and find that it took almost all the bolt treads to tighten back up, any tighter and we would have run out of room, its not as tight as it was when i first got her, but its pretty tight. Now i have a CEL light that comes on so i guess my first question would be:
would this cause my CEL light to come on in any way?
also how do i check to see what code its giving off?
I also hydrolocked about a month back but acura said i was fine, cylinder comp. was a little low for me, but within specs....any help is great guys!

This shows you how to check for what code it is giving http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/06.html
I don't think the throttle cable would cause it. I would think about replacing it anyway. If it is as loose as you said, it might have stretched.

Peace!
well, not sure what to call it, engine got water in the intake, hesitated, then died, so i let it sit for a bit, then started her back up, first try she didnt start, wanted to cry, second time she started up and hesitated but kept on going, thats why i called it hydro lock....didnt know of any other term for it.
ok, so i checked the code its throwing, its a code 45, system too rich or lean, malfunction in the fuel monitoring syatem...so what could be causing thsi? should i just go ahead and have my throttle cable replaced? how much does that usually cost and how hard is it too do? thanks again guys
