Default Changing clutch in an 03 Mitsubishin spyde gts..Questions?

Hey HT
My friend is asking me to change his clutch in an 03 mitsubishi spyder v6 3.0. Its a manual.
Ive taken my tranny of my integra gsr 6-7 times already so i am familiar with what is required. My questions is. How hard is it going to be to change it on his Eclipse and how long would it take considering i have acces to all the tools i will need..? And how much shuld i tell him its gonna be worth for me to do it.
Thanks

Can't really tell you how long it would take but to help you figure out how much you should charge him, tell him $30/hour. That's about half of what a shop would charge, and considering you know what you're doing, that's a fair deal in my book. That's what I charge all of the people I do work for. $30/hour if you bring the car to me or $40/hour if I have to drive to the car and do the work. Charging a basic hourly rate makes it a hell of a lot easier to figure out how much the work is worth.

Good luck!

Oh, I just noticed a friend of mine from H.S. has her 02 Eclipse in a shop getting a new clutch and they're charging her $980.

Holly **** man 1k for a clutch change. Dang but hey shes a chik. If he doesnt find some one to do it for him. Ill tell him what you said. Either he takes it or leaves it. Ill prolly do it for around 200 for him since hes my good friend. he bought the car of a chik driver that knew **** about driving manual. The clutch is fried. It wont even go into gear while the car is running. you have to churn the car of. Put the shifter into first gear. Start it up. And you can feel that the car wants to go even when the clutch is fully presed in. Any ideas. I had the same on my car
