Have you ever ran an ep3 trans with a larger FD (4.7 or larger)? Have any of you tried modding the k24a2 gear set into an ep3 trans case? I ask this because i will have a k24a2 going into a eg hatch, and the motor will be built (N/A). I have read that the type-s trans is pretty short causing wheel spin 1st -3rd and also having to shift into 5th before the end of the track. Just trying to see if any of you guys have seen if the longer gear have helped some of you out.

EP3 case is the same as the 6 spd case. You can use any K20/K24 gears in it that you want to.
