last monday on my way to work I did this to my poor family car/daily driver
probably no need to argue about blame/fault on this one

So because I have a second car I don't have rental insurance, so I started driving around the civic, not much fun with a buddyclub spec 2 exhaust and getting children into baby seats in the back... but now that's irrelevant because I'm not driving it either
came out from work to find this

lady backed into me and was kind enough to leave a note, after much discussion with her insurance company I now have a super, ultra boring, gold-ish coloured Chevy Cobalt. It's easier to put the kids in, but man does it suck as a car. Terrible visibility, lousy driving feel, sad gas mileage. And of course I'm going to be driving it for ages, no ETA on the repair of either of my cars and with the snow just hitting denver the repair shops are already overloaded with cars to fix
apparently the colour is actually "gold mist"

pity party thread?

I feel bad for you, here's a:

Bad things happen to good people for a reason. My Civic got broken in to and they destroyed the window frame and all around the door jam with a screw driver. The paint shop messed up on matching the color and I ended up getting my entire car painted for about $800.

Bring both of your vehicles up to Brighton.
B&E Auto Service, i work with them and we're SLOW for the next few weeks. We could have a 1 week turn around on each.
303-659-4788 is the shop number.
