auto tensioner quick question hel
Ok so I pulle off my timing belt to do my head gasket. But ididnt mess with the tensioner I just slipped the belt off. So if I set it all to tdc can I slip the belt back on without messing with the auto tensioner again?

If keeping the auto tensioner it's recommended to replace it when the timing belt needs replacing, one of the reasons people convert to the manual tensioner.
Yes, you really should replace the tensioner as well. It is as likely, if not more, to let go before the tbelt does. If you don't want to replace it, however, you will still need to re-compress it. The Helm's has the proper procedure for doing so, but basically you pull it off the block, use the screw inside to compress it, hold it in place using the special tool, then reinstall. After you've installed the t-belt, you remove the holding tool and it will put tension on the belt.
A new tensioner from Honda will come loaded with a holder tool. There is a procedure to lock the tensioner in place for just such repairs. Back out the little 10mm pin sticking out of the timing cover until it stops. This keeps the tensioner from extracting all the way out. Just FYI.
