Default JDM Headlights...modifications needed?

I heard that the lights themselves bolt right in, but you need to modify the bulb connector or something in order to use the stock bulbs that come with the USDM car. Any truth to that and if so, can someone briefly explain that it takes to make the stock bulbs work with the JDM lights? TIA

BTW, I realize this has probably been asked before, but I did a search and didnt find what I was looking for.

Unless you're rolling with the JDM HID units, the lights are a direct swap. Mine came with no bulbs - the ones from my USDM pieces went right in. Whole process took an hour or so.

If you don't want the HID, make sure that you get the base Integra (RSX) model headlights. The HID ones are a pain in the *** to modify so that they seal and work properly.

Alright, so if they arent the HID model then they should bolt right in. I dont know if they are the HID model or not though, Ill have to double check on that. All I know is they are JDM RSX headlights. Anyone have a pic of the differences between the two where the bulbs plug in?

ok,..wel,.I put the headlights in a long time ago,.they went in perfect and no problems,..now I'm setting up a group buy on 6000k HID's but will they melt anything inside the JDM house ones? The HID'sare made for the US RSX/s headligfhs so I guess they will be cool right?
Don't want to ruin them but then again I seen some guys already w/ the HIDs in em' so I guess its ok,..not sure why I'm trippin?

OK I installed the lights today. They are NOT the HID model so the stock bulbs bolted right in with no problem. We also installed a set of the Neuspeed Race springs. They are very nice, even on the stock shocks but I think the stock shocks will have to go soon. The drop is perfect and looks great on the white
RSX-S paired with the JDM headlights. Looks beautiful Im tempted to ditch my DC2 for a DC5. But we shall see
