Hi guys. I'm about to cut out some slots to put sidemarkers and I'm just wondering what have you guys done to make it harder for thieves to steal them? I'm scared that they will take them while I'm parked at the theaters or mall.

 

there really isn't much you can do, maybe proximity sensors on your alarm

 

There's not much you could do unless you have a highly sensitive alarm or would consider super gluing them on. They aren't worth that much and if they were to get stolen, perhaps a few other things like your emblems would be gone too. But really, I've never hear about sidemarkers getting stolen.

Worry about the car and not the sidemarkers

 

I rather them take them off easy then to super glue them and they damage the fender trying to get them off. Or having them not get them and damage the fender anyway. I seen it happen a couple of times. Fenders are not cheap after you factor in paint. And jdm ones psssh. There like 30 buxs for pwjdm so if a theif decides to hate. F it.

 

don't install sidemarkers and you won't have to worry about them getting stolen

 

Kind of hard for us with jdm fronts

yeah its very easy to steal .. unless if you wield it to your fenders or something somehow

dont park your car at a mall or theater a few of my friends got their car stolen from places like that..... just a heads up

 

I'd be a bit more worried about the car itself, I'm on my 2nd Teggy, First one was a 94 GSR that got jacked the first week I had it, which was also the day it was scheduled to have an alarm. So if I had to offer any advice, it'd be to have layers of security.

 

Lol. I had a friend who parked his EG Hatch at school and someone stole the side markers off the car. Lol. He was laughing but sad in a way because it's just damn ridiculous.

 

b/c you can make money off that car......your really not going to make much money off sidemarkers
