Starting problems in the morning
Car: 94 accord ex-r 5spd.
So my problem is everyday in the morning the engine would turn over atleast 10 times before it starts but after it starts rest of the day it will turn over pretty much right away or after like 2 or 3 cranks.
could this be due to a bad fuel pump? i changed my fuel filter what a PITA to do but i did it. Still have the problem in the morning but it runs a lot better now.
I need to change my fuel tank regardless its leaking at the seam so going to change the pump regardless.
Would anything else cause the engine to turn over for long period of time and then start?
-----------
Another thing today after i pumped gas, my car wouldn't start back, listened for the pump to prime but it was dead and i would hear it couple times when i turn the key to on, and sometimes nothing. So i know i'm going to need a pump or the main relay.
Eventually got it started and came home wasn't to far from my house.

kinda sounds like your main relay is acting up..when you say after your pump gas..
but for cold starts, you might wanna try a carbon cleaner and fuel injector cleaner kit as well

My 91 EX 5 speed has done the same thing for years. It will crank forever and not start when cold. However if I crank for just a second or two, then stop and crank it again, it takes right off. I have just gotten use to doing a double crank if it does not start immediately.

I had a similar problem on my previous car (non-Honda product) that seemed to take forever to build fuel pressure when cold. Try turning the key to the "On" position and let it sit there until all the self-test lights go out (3-4 seconds, ABS/SRS/etc. on my car) and then twist the key another click to the "Start" position to crank. Give it a shot and see if it helps next time you go to start the car in the morning.
