Car: 94 accord ex-r 5spd.


So my problem is everyday in the morning the engine would turn over atleast 10 times before it starts but after it starts rest of the day it will turn over pretty much right away or after like 2 or 3 cranks.

could this be due to a bad fuel pump? i changed my fuel filter what a PITA to do but i did it. Still have the problem in the morning but it runs a lot better now.

I need to change my fuel tank regardless its leaking at the seam so im just running 10$ worth of gas at a time for now till i get some money together. So going to have to do both fuel pump and tank.

Would anything else cause the engine to turn over for long period of time and then start?

Another thing today after i pumped gas, my car wouldn't start back, listened for the pump to prime but it was dead and i would hear it couple times when i turn the key to on, and sometimes nothing. So i know i'm going to need a pump or the main relay.

I'm going to be changing my tank soon since its leaking from the seam, so i'm going to put in a new pump regardless.

Eventually got it started and came home wasn't to far from my house.
