Everything is hooked up. Got spark. Got Fuel Pressure. BUT I heard a weird noise that sounds almost like the starter isn't dis-engaging, however the starter moves freely when inspected. I say its a grinding noise but my buddies the mechanics says its not really a grinding.... just a weird strong noise/grinding when the motor turns over. I know the motor is chill and good, but its got a new tranny. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. As of right now its a mystery that needs to be dealt with ASAP. Thanks - mil

 

But I would say you are correct in focusing in what is causing the sound. You know there is a problem there so focus on that first. If you take the starter out do the teeth look eaten up at all.

Just because you have fuel pressure doesn't mean that fuel is getting into the engine. Could be bad injectors or the wiring could be bad. I wouldn't rule that out quite yet. If you turn the engine over a little while and then remove the spark plugs are they moist and smell like fuel.

Next thing to check: Are the plug wires hooked up in the correct order. How do you know the motor is "chill and good". Did you see it running previously with your own eyes.
