Honda Prelude Crank Pulley....
So, this is my first thread... so i hope im not breaking any rules.... but i couldnt find any results from searching honda prelude crank pulley...
my buddie was telling me that he thought that crank pulleys help with low end torque... i was just wondering if this is true... and what brands are good?
The current mods on my car are: AEM CAI, a tanabe catback, DC headers (getting rid of them and getting the new vibrant ones), plan to get a hondata after the headers and then stage one skunk 2 cams... and my goals are getting over 210 wheel horse.
would a better crank pulley help my setup? and goals?

OEM crank pulley are harmonic balancers. They are there for a reason, dampens the many vibrations that result within the engine, I would not touch it. There are more noticible gains with a light flywheel rather than a lightend crank pulley.
you want to search just crank pulley and select the honda prelude forum in the list on the right hand side.
a crank pulley comes balanced from the factory. People get lighter ones to help reduce the rotary mass i believe it is called. From what i hear the lighter pulley will add some hp but being unbalanced they can lead to some serious engine damage. I would stick with the stock pulley and spend the money elsewhere.
with the cams and headers you might want to look into a skunk2 intake manifold. on a stock motor people have reported loosing power, but with those cams/headers it should work nicely.
if you want to help reduce rotary mass you could get the AEM alt and power steering pulley set, or remove them all together.
